In this 5 disks series, David will take you on a tour of the various design variations and painting techniques of Louis XIV.  This is the next in the series following the very popular Georgian Scrolls and the design period form 1714- 1830 in England.  This design period will feature the Louis XIV style from 18 century France.  David will show you how to design using these scroll styles and also show you the new "shadow effect" technique he used to paint the scrolls and roses, and decorations. 

In the first disk David will show you how to design and show the differences between some of the design styles pre and post Louis the XIV.  In disk 1 he will start with some simple scrolls and decorations using some small designs you could add to any home decoration.  In the next 2 DVD's he will walk you though a 20 inch plate featuring the scrolls and a new floral technique.  Later in the series he decorates a large candle sconce wall shelf featuring a large mirror, with scrolls and flowers.
